PoCo – Museum of Pop and Contemporary Art in Estonia

PoCo is a world museum of pop art situated in Tallinn. The exhibition features exceptional artists such as Warhol, Banksy, Koons, Lichtenstein, Haring, Hirst, Hockney, Basquiat, Kusama, Newton, and other prominent names.

Nordic Hotel Forum is pleased to present: the first PoCo pop and contemporary art museum in Estonia.

Pop art is a symbiosis of irony, social criticism, and playful contemplation. Pop art will never end, as politicians and societal impulses constantly create new opportunities for protest, irony, and simple enjoyment. PoCo offers classic pop art but constantly surprises with something new.

The creator of the museum is an IT visionary and one of the ideologists of the Estonian e-governance, Linnar Viik. The museum is largely based on Linnar Viik’s personal collection of pop art.

PoCo is situated in Rotermann Quarter in Tallinn, which is itself a post-modernist art piece, blending 19th-century industrial architecture with contemporary glass facades.

The private collection includes 340+ works from pop art icons, spanning from the 1950s to the present day.

The exhibition opens on 29 February 2024 and remains open until 27 October 2024.

PoCo is located at Rotermanni Center, at Rotermanni 2, Tallinn, Estonia. See more at www.poco.art
